David Ralph Spence is a retired Canadian[1] Anglican bishop.[2]
Spence was born on 10 March 1942 and educated at the University of Guelph [3] he was ordained in 1968.[4] He was an assistant curate at St George’s Guelph and then the Rector of St Bartholomew's Hamilton. After further incumbencies at St John's Thorold and St Luke’s Burlington he became the Archdeacon of Trafalgar until his ordination to the episcopate as Bishop of Niagara in 1997. He retired in 2008.
